Kane County has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Telephone Notification System. CodeRED is an ultra high-speed telephone communications service for emergency notifications. This system allows local officials to telephone targeted areas of a municipality or the entire County in case an emergency situation requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child or evacuation notices) occurs.

For more information or to register an unlisted, IP phone or cell phone number to your address click here and scroll down to the section with the CodeRED logo.
